This was an odd one so I hope it helps someone else. This happened to my 2008 Ford Mustang GT (Manual). I started my car and right away the idle was very rough. I tried to drive the car but when I tried to accelerate the car it just didn't have the power it usually does. I took it to an auto mechanic and a code was being thrown that it was the Variable Valve Timing oil control valve solenoid. They replaced this part and my car was working again.
